About Me
My name is Olivia, I'm 28 years old, and I have 11 years of experience working with children and young people. My area/s of speciality are SEN & SEMH. I am starting my psychology degree this year, with a focus on mental health and counselling. I have an enhanced DBS.
I am a caring, patient and fun individual with a wide base of knowledge within childcare. I currently work as a Home Learning Support Worker with 12-16-year-olds through NCC and have been for the past 7 years. This job role is similar to a tutor and support worker combined.
My previous job roles included working in pre-schools/nurseries and mainstream, SEN, short-stay & behavioural schools as a teaching assistant or one-to-one support. I also have many years of experience working as both a nanny and a babysitter. Because of these varying job roles, I have experience with ages ranging from 4 months - 16 years.
I have a Level 2 qualification in childcare, training in First Aid, Medication Handling, Safeguarding, as well as other smaller training certificates (Radicalisation, Keeping Children Safe in Education, Cyber Bullying, etc.)
I am currently only available for evening babysitting.
My Experience
When I was 15, I completed my work experience for two weeks at a nursery/daycare centre in Fakenham, and I loved the experience so much that I volunteered my whole summer holiday there. After completing high school and deciding college wasn't what I wanted to do, I went on and secured an apprenticeship in a nursery in Toftwood. This taught me so many invaluable skills that after I completed the apprenticeship, I went straight into a nursery and became a fully qualified Nursery Practitioner. I enjoyed my time there, but decided to expand my knowledge and work with older children in schools. I currently work for NCC via an agency as an HLSA, supporting children and adolescents in their own homes whilst they are too unwell to attend school (which can be anywhere from a couple of months to a few years). Because of these varying job roles, I have experience with ages ranging from 4 months - 16 years.
I am also hired by/work for babysitting agencies BabysittersOf(Norfolk) and Sitters.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
£14 an hour - this has gone up in line with the minimum wage increase.
If you are more than 20 miles away, I would charge an extra hour to cover travel expenses.
