About Me
My setting is a 'home from home' child lead environment. its not just a place where your child goes while you go to work. its walking into the same familiar home every morning. Its a small group where I know what makes them happy, how they like to fall asleep.
Its spontaneous nature walks at local parks, beaches, woods and visits to the library.
its reading books curled up on the couch, having lunch around the table, celebrating birthdays, playing in the garden.
its one consistent care giver who gets to truly get to know your child, watch them celebrate milestones, help them navigate friendships.
I prioritise social and emotional development. Strong social and emotional skills, things like emotional regulation, relationship building, resilience and confidence.
Children experience full childhoods full of joy, calm and curiosity and connections where they are known, valued and supported to grow at their own pace.
I have been a registerd Quality Assured Childminder since 2002 and hold a NVQ3 certificate in childcare. We enjoy a large variety of activities and is not afraid to get messy.
I like to think of myself as being friendly and as flexible as possible.
I am able to take funded children, and I am also registered to accept tax-free childcare payments.

I have been a Network Childminder which is now called Dorset Quality Aprovement Scheme.
My Qualifications
NVQ3 in Childcare

Constantly updating and attending training courses.
My Availability
My normal working hours are from 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday - Thursday.
I am able to drop off at Heatherlands Primary School and Sunbeams pre school.
I will have some availability from January 2027.
I occasionally have an available space in the school holidays Monday - Thursday.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My standard hourly rate for daytime Childminding out of funded hours is £7.50 per hour. The hourly rate may differ depending on funding eligibility.
I accept funding for all ages of children. With a small non mandatory charge for extra curriculum consumables, travel and outings for 3/4 yr olds as the basic funding does not cover this.
