I was a nanny for 18 years. I have experience from newborns to children aged 16+ years. After having my own children, now aged nearly 9 and 11 years, I have been working in a pre-school, since 2011, taking care off children aged 2- 4 years.
My Experience
Working as a live-in Nanny. Working alongside parents, with each child’s specific requirements. My live- in jobs included school runs, preparing nutritious meals for the children. Taking children to various activities after school and during school holidays. Taking care off the children’s laundry. Helping with children’s homework. I have also travelled with families abroad, on there family holidays.
Within the pre-school, I currently work at, I have gained certificates in childcare, including safeguarding, behavioural needs within a child, speech and language courses and first aid. I also have more certificates around child’s development. I have also, worked alongside children which have needed extra support, on a one to one basis, including speech and behavioural concerns.I have been able to assess a child with their own specific needs and help to support the child and parents and been invited to attend assessments with the child and family.Within the pre-school, we follow each child’s individual development and help the child to learn through fun planned activities, so they will be school ready.

Cache NVQ level 3, working with children 0-19 years.
My Availability
At the pre-school I currently work in, I can be available to work, after giving one months notice.
