About Me
*1 x TERM TIME ONLY PLACE AVAILABLE FROM SEPTEMBER 2026* Hi, my name is Becky and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder in Ashton under Lyne. I live with my partner and have 3 children aged 16 and 14yr old twins. Myself, my partner & my eldest son have all been DBS checked.

As a childminder my aim is to work in partnership with you to provide continuity of care in a safe, caring, home from home environment for your child. I provide a stimulating and quality learning environment and offer a variety of activities for each stage of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Activities include arts and crafts, imaginative play, cooking, messy play, small world, outdoor and much more!
I encourage children to explore the world around them by planning regular outings to the park, farm, museums and I also attend Playgroups/playcentres encouraging children's development of social skills and confidence.
My Experience
I hold an NVQ L3 qualification in childcare and previously worked with children birth-11yrs in private day nurseries and out of school clubs before choosing to become a childminder.

* Cache setting up a home based childcare service
* Cache L3 NVQ in childcare
* Paediatric First Aid
* Safeguarding Children
I also aim to develop my knowledge by regularly completing relevant training courses. Some of the courses I've completed are:
* SENCO (Special educational needs)
* The Common Assessment Framework
* L1 Food Safety & Hygiene
* Meeting the needs of children with social communication difficulties
* Supporting children's learning through storytelling
* Forest school taster session
My Availability
My setting is open between 7:30am and 4:30pm Monday - Friday **Term Time Only**
I will have full/part time vacancies available from September 2026.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I accept all government funding & tax free childcare. Any additional hours are charged at £5.50 per hour and I also charge an additional £5 per week towards playgroups/trips out.
My Local Schools

My little boy has come on so much since being cared for by Becky since September. He loves being in her care. Great communication from Becky, also, the daily updates are great!

Becky has provided childcare for both of my grandchildren from 9 months old to 4 years . The care provided was exceptional throughout offering a wide variety of activities and experiences. Becky is highly professional with a very caring nature. I would highly recommend Becky for any childcare needs.

My son, who is now four years old, has been with Becky since he was just nine months old. Over the years, she has built such a strong bond with him and has always cared for him as if he were one of her own.
Becky regularly takes the children on wonderful outings, including Story Makers sessions, playgroups, trips to the park, and days out with the other children. Her home-from-home environment has played a huge part in helping my son feel happy, secure, and settled.
I cannot recommend Becky highly enough for the care, dedication, and support she has given Ralph over the years. She has been instrumental in preparing him for his next big step as he starts school in September.
We will miss her and will always be grateful for everything she has done for our family.
