About Me
Hi, my name is Claire. I live in Clayton, Newcastle with my husband and two daughters aged 15 and 11. We are near to the A34 and M6 and are conveniently situated close to the University Hospital and Keele University.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted (Good) registered childminder for the past six years and really enjoy having the children. Children learn best when they are happy and having fun - and that's exactly what I aim to provide in my setting!
My Qualifications
I have completed my training with Staffordshire County Council, Safeguarding Level 3, Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and Food Hygiene along with many other child development courses. I am committed to delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage to the children in my care. I offer a happy, stimulating environment for the children I care for - I have a large enclosed rear garden with a swing and small slide, sand and water play etc. Indoors, dressing up, construction, puzzles, books, small world play, arts and crafts and computer based learning activities etc are readily available.
My Availability
I am able to be quite flexible. I offer part-time, term-time only and full-time places. I am happy to try and accommodate any special requests you may have eg continue to attend activities that you and your child have previously been attending. I also offer a drop off/collection service to local schools for older siblings.
