About Me

Hi, my name is Sangita and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Gillingham with over 27 years of experience working with children.

I provide a warm, calm and inclusive home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and supported to develop at their own pace. I focus on each child as an individual and work closely with parents to ensure every child feels settled and confident in my care.

I work alongside a registered assistant, which allows us to provide plenty of attention, engaging activities and a nurturing atmosphere for the children. As a small home-based setting, children benefit from lots of individual attention in a calm and nurturing environment.

Our days include trips to local parks, nature walks, visits to libraries, playgroups and soft play centres. At home we enjoy singing, dancing, puzzles, games, messy play and creative activities that support children’s learning and development. We enjoy spending time outdoors whenever possible, exploring nature and building confidence through outdoor play.

We also enjoy visiting a local care home where the children share songs and smiles with residents. It is a lovely way for children to experience kindness and connection within the community.

Throughout the year we explore seasons, celebrations and festivals from different cultures, helping children learn about the world around them. I also support children in developing confidence, independence and early skills that help prepare them for starting school.

We share our home with our friendly cockapoo Lola and our lovely cat Evie, who are both gentle and used to being around children.

I currently have 2 full-time childcare spaces available from April.
