Lovely and reliable

Daisy has babysat for our 8 month old baby daughter several times and we're very impressed with her. She is always prompt, courteous and respectful. She is cheerful and easy to be around. She enjoys playing with our daughter and taking her out for walks in her pram. I appreciate that she's patient, even during trantrums. Daisy is very helpful and is happy to assist with tidying, preparing food and other tasks when I am at home. We're lucky to have found her.

Compassionate care for the whole family

Timnit has worked with our family as sole change nanny for 2 years from 2017. She looks after our 2 daughters who were 1 and 4 when she started with us. Like the other parents have written here, she is a wonderful nanny. There are many things I appreciate about Timnit, but what I value most is that she wholeheartedly looks after the whole family. She respects children and parents equally. She observes and takes her cue from my parenting style. That means we have a consistent approach to important things like boundaries and discipline which makes her the best kind of partner in supporting our family.

She is kind, considerate and, for me, strikes exactly the right balance between fun and firm. She puts children (and adults) at ease, while making sure they are safe and happy. She is extremely patient and never loses her temper. Timnit brings her daughter to work and this arrangement has worked brilliantly for us. The girls enjoy having another playmate and Timnit manages the 3 children with ease and is always professional and fair in resolving any minor conflicts. The girls have formed a truly special and lasting bond with her daughter and they continue to play together regularly, even while Timnit is on maternity leave.

It’s obvious not just to me, but other parents who’ve observed her looking after my daughters that Timnit loves what she does. That passion shows through in the high quality care she gives and in the types of relationships she forms with children and parents. She recognises how special each child is and what their qualities are. She looks for ways to nurture those qualities through activities they enjoy. She and her family will remain lifelong friends and I recommend her with confidence to any family.
