I am an Ofsted registered childminder and a mum of three boys aged 16, 13 and 8, offering full and part -time care for children aged 0- 12. I live in Haydock with my husband and 3 sons, we are close to Ashton and Newton- le - willows and are within close proximity to the A580 East Lancs Road and the M6 motorway. We are just across the road from a large playing field with childrens playground and are close to all local amenities. I attend a number of different playgroups, including mums and tots, music and dance groups and soft play areas, giving children plenty of opportunity to learn and develop new skills. Our conservatory has been converted into a fully equipped play room with plenty of toys and resources to meet the needs of all ages and abilities. We have a outdoor play area which we have a climb n slide play centre, a sand pit, water play table and numerous ride on toys for all ages and stages of development. We also have a very large selection of outdoor games. I have a healthy eating policy and have a four week meal plan which I have devised with the help of the children. We go on lots of different outings such as the farm, Liverpool museam, Splashworld, Fruit picking, Safari park and pottery painting studio to name but a few. The children in my care are never bored as they are always occupied with different things to do and places to go. I have a 7 seater vehicle which is fully insured for my business and is fitted with age appropriate car seats.
I have an Ofsted registered assistant who is also paediatric first aid trained, DBS checked, has a full clean driving licence and her own car insured for business use to cover day trip and holiday club outings. She has an NVQ level 3. We both wear uniform t-shirts with the company logo and children are provided with Hi Visibility vest and wrist bands with my contact number on for outings.
My Experience
I am a mum of 3 boys aged 16, 13 and 8, I have completed my childminder training, a safeguarding children course, behaviour awareness, Food safety and catering, CAF training, creativity on a shoestring, Fire safety and hold a current peadiatric first aid certificate. Myself, my husband and assistant all have an enhanced CRB check and I am registered as a food business with the local authority and have a food hygiene rating of 5. We have just been granted the Healthy eating award by St Helens council and received excellent feedback about our 4 weekly meal plan. I am a member of PACEY and am fully insured with them for public and employers liability. I have also done numerous voluntary placements in local schools working within the Early Years Foundation stage age group. I am a member of the St Helens childminder network and attend regular meetings to develop and progress myself further.
My Qualifications
In my latest Ofsted inspection (June 2019) I was graded an overall Good with outstanding areas. I have 11 GCSE all grade C and above, 4 A levels, an NVQ 2 in Business Admin and I have completed my Childminder training, I have done a safeguarding children course, I have a level 2 certificate in food safety and catering, a level 5 food hygiene rating, have recently received the childminder healthy eating award and have a current Peadiatric first aid certificate. I have also attended behaviour awareness course, Caf training, Fire safety and am registered as a food business with a food hygiene rating of 5. We have just been granted the Healthy eating award for childminders by St Helens council I also have a number of excellent references from parents of current and previously minded children which are available to view upon request.
My Availability

I am available from 8am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility to these times should the need arise. Please feel free to ring me to discuss your requirements and I will try my best to accomodate your needs.
I am now able to offer the Government funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. 15 and 30 hours - please enquire for availability.
I offer before and after school care and nursery wrap around for English Martyrs school in Haydock.
School holiday care also available which is inclusive of all day trips and meals.

My Fees
Please contact to discuss your requirements. All fees are inclusive of 3 meals (breakfast, dinner and jomr cooked tea and pudding) and 2 healthy snacks throughout the day. The cost of all outings and day trips are included in the daily fee.
Nappies and wipes also included.
Government funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds also available - please enquire for further details.

Lynsey and Amanda go above and beyond for the children in their care. My little girl has started with them in September and honestly can't recommend them enough. My little one goes in with the biggest smile on her face in a Morning when she sees lynsey.
I was so worried to start back work and leave my baby with all this horrible pandemic going on but they both have made it so much easier to do so.
They do something every single day with them, it's so nice to see her little adventures.

My Son has been going to Lynsey's since September 2015 3 full days a week and he absolutely loves it!
Lynsey always fills his day with fun learning activities and adventures to lots of different places some of which I would have never even thought of!
Both Lynsey and Amanda are both very caring & honest people which puts your mind at ease as I know from experience it's not easy leaving your child to go back to work. I can say that they both made the whole experience that little bit easier as I knew my son was happy to go and that really does help.
Lynsey has always been really helpful if we have require extra childcare as my son only goes term time and if I need childcare, given plenty notice Lynsey always tried to accommodate.
All in all I would really recommend childcare here, if your looking for a loving, trustworthy, fully qualified childcare with activity packed fun days for your children..look no further and speak to Lynsey.

My daughter has been going to Lynsey's since Jan 16 and finished in July 16 due to starting Full Time School in Sept 16. We wish we had known earlier about Lynsey as we would have definately sent Maisie earlier.
In Maisie's time there she has loved every moment. They are always active and doing things and always Learning New Things. Maisie has really enjoyed her French Sessions.
Maisie has never complained when coming home from Lynseys and always has a Smile on her face.
Lynsey is a Lovely and Caring Childminder and She always makes sure that the Children are Fully Entertained for their stay.
Lynsey has been really flexible with me as I needed wrap around from Nursery but only needed Childcare for a few hours 3 Days a Week which was great for me.

I have known Lynsey since 2011 when she became the childminder for my daughter when she was 11 months old. She is currently childminder for my son and has been since he too was 11 months old.
Choosing a childminder is a huge thing as you are trusting somebody else with your children and I can honestly say, I cannot recommend Lynsey enough. I don't think I have enough space here to right how amazing she is but I will give it a go.
She is caring, passionate about providing the best care, engaging, loving, a mother, encouraging, fair, kind, considerate.. the list goes on.
My children have both loved their time with Lynsey. When my daughter left her care she was a confident, happy, well mannered child and a lot of this is down to Lynsey. She treats children in her care as she does her own and if you were to meet her three lovely children you would see that isn't a bad thing.
My son absolutely loves Lynsey and her assistant Amanda (who is lovely and a is benefiting from learning from Lynsey) and literally runs out the house to go to her setting. You can't ask for more than that.
It will be a very sad day when my son leaves but I can be happy knowing that my children have benefited from the best care around (in my opinion).

Lynsey is amazing with the children. She is super organised and really cares.
My daughter attended 15hrs a week till starting pre-school in Sept '15.
Lynsey helped with toilet training and even noted the need for a speech therapy referral and completed this with my consent.
My daughter adored attending with all her friends. She developed social skills and attended such things, as Jo-Jingles and a farm trip.
Lynsey is focused on development,fun and safety. Just how it should be.
If she can accommodate your hours and has space grab it, as it will be the best choice you ever make. So glad we did.
