I am a Registered Ofsted Inspected childminder, with the grade Outstanding. Offering professional care to children of all ages.
My name is Deanna Inwood (Dee) I live in
Clacton-On-Sea, Essex.
I live with my husband and two children, my daughter is 14 years old and my son is 11 years old.
I have my own property with a separate playroom and toilet for the children and a safe and secure garden for the children to play in.
I am a qualified paediatric first aider & also up to date with my Safeguarding.
I offer a warm welcoming setting and cater for children of all ages and individual needs.
I offer a flexible service to parents/carers.
I can offer school drop off and pick up to Engaines Primary School in Little Clacton.
I take the children out most days, we go to toddler groups, play centres, library, farms, Colchester Zoo & parks to name a few.
The children also have their own individual folder - keeping in line with the EYFS, these contains information about their development and learning progress, adding pictures of days out or when they learn something new, having next steps and art work picture they have done.
My Experience
I have previously worked 4 years at a nursery in Thorpe-le-soken looking after children from 6 months to 5 years.
I then worked 3 years as a childminders assistant looking after children from 3 months to 5 years.
Taking children to toddler groups, library, play centres, parks, farms, Colchester zoo to name a few things we do regullary with the children.
I then registered as a childminder myself 12 years ago after doing all training & relevant courses.
I still work closly with another childminder as its nice for the children to play together.
As well as the experience of having two of my own children.

Everything about our experience with Dee has been beyond positive and amazing experience for my children, my at the time 2 year old struggled in a nursery setting so we got recommended by a friend to go to Dees and wow what a difference she made. My daughter was settled in just a few sessions and grew very fond of Dee, I felt so comfortable with Dee looking after my daughter that I had no problem with leaving my baby with her whilst I returned to work.
I received photo updates and knowledge of what my kids were up to and she went out of her way to make my children feel so special on their birthdays, by organising parties and buying them presents. She also made Christmas, Easter, mother and fathers day special by involving them in lovely crafts and activties for them to do.
We feel so lucky we found Dee and anyone else would be lucky to have Dee as part of their little ones early years journey.

Dee Dee as my little one called her was a brilliant and warm childminder. She looked after my son in a way that gave me complete peace of mind. She picked him up and dropped him off as needed, and even printed pictures of his progress for me to keep. I am just sorry you don't live close by to us anymore. You were the best childminder I have ever worked with.
