About Me
I am a CIW registered childminder in Llanrumney.
I am a mother to one beautiful daughter who was born in 2011 which I home educate.
Whilst the children are in my care they will participate in fun activities such as arts and crafts, story time, visits to the local park, farm, local library plus time for free play.
I offer a bilingual (Welsh) service and also have a BSL level 1.
I am available for local school / nursery pick ups and before and after school care.
I have a separate play room for the children with French doors out to the garden for extended play.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2013 although this has now become my full time job from January 2016.
My Qualifications
Fluent Welsh speaker
BSL level 1
Paediatric first training (which I will renew every 3 years)
I have completed my NVQ level 3 in childcare in 2018 and NVQ level 5 in 2021.
I have a good understanding of milk / soya allergies.
Level 2 award in food safety in catering & I also follow guidelines for 'safer food better business for childminders'
My Availability
I have limited spaces available from January 2023.
I also provide wrap around care and before and after school care.
Currently do school run for Ysgol Bro Eirwg.

My daughter has been going to Amy since she was 9 months old, she's now 7. There are so many things to do with Amy and my daughter gets involved with everything. They're always very age appropriate activities. Very often, she doesn't want to leave! Amy is very professional, always on hand if I need support with anything to do with my daughter and she has always been very trusting and reliable. Wouldn't recommend anyone else.

My daughter loves going to Amy’s she’s been going since she was 18 months old and she is now 4
Amy really is amazing with the children she’s always taking the children somewhere on day trip my daughter has nonestop fun and really enjoys going to Amy’s

Amy has been looking after my 17month son since January 2016. I had my doubts using a childminder rather than a nursery but I thought I would explore all options prior to returning to work.
When discussing with Amy her looking after my son I knew instantly that she would provide what I wanted. She is such a lovely lady and I am at ease when at work knowing my son is being well looked after.
He absolutely loves going to Amy's. Amy is constantly arranging days out for the children and activities in her home.
I couldn't recommend Amy enough to other parents who are looking for childcare.
