Personal Assistant Required to Support a 10-Year-Old with Autism
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic personal assistant to support a loving and energetic 10-year-old boy with Autism. He enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting parks, soft play areas, the beach, and engaging in other outdoor activities. He is a happy child who thrives on physical activity, but also enjoys quiet time with his phone, solving puzzles, and playing with letters and numbers.
His communication is limited, but he is able to make requests to express his wants and needs.
The role involves taking him out into the community and supporting him in accessing a range of activities. We are seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference in the life of a child with additional needs, and who believes in supporting children with disabilities to access the same opportunities as their peers.
Requirements:
• Someone who is energetic, compassionate, and reliable
• Experience with children with additional needs is preferred
• A full driving license is preferred
• An Enhanced DBS check will be required
Salary: £15 per hour
Weekly 4-6 hours
