About Me

My name is Emily. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac in Wokingham near Finchampstead Road. I am a mother of a 2 children. I offer a caring and safe home environment for your children. I received a Good in my latest Ofsted inspection.

We have a wide variety of toys for girls and boys of all ages including dressing up, books, puzzles, board games, musical instruments, a dolls house and play kitchen. We also enjoy cooking and craft. We have a safe enclosed garden with a slide, sandpit and other outdoor toys. We enjoy playing in the garden and learning about wildlife and the environment. We enjoy going to toddler groups, the library, and trips to the park, farm, country parks, picnics and feeding the ducks.

I cook with fresh ingredients and have experience of cooking vegetarian, gluten free, nut free and dairy free foods.

We have 2 friendly cats whom are familiar with children and my children have benefited from taking care of them and the attention they receive from them. We also have 2 guinea pigs.

My Experience

I have been a childminder for 12 years and I have over 30 years of experience of working with children as a babysitter and working in a primary school. I regularly attend courses to continue my professional development and I enjoy learning about child development and child behaviour.

My Qualifications

I am an Ofsted registered, qualified childminder and I have completed a paediatric first aid course and food hygiene course.

My Availability

In September 2026 I will have a space on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
In October 2026 I will have a space on a Tuesday and Thursday.
