About Me

Hello, my name is Deysi, and I am a warm, experienced, and dedicated nanny with over 22 years of professional childcare experience.
Originally from Peru, I am fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. Throughout my career, I have cared for children of all ages, from newborn babies to teenagers, including twins, and I have had the privilege of supporting many families over long-term placements.
I am passionate about providing a loving, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish emotionally, socially, and academically. I believe every child is unique and deserves care that supports their individual personality, interests, and development.
I enjoy planning engaging activities that encourage learning through play, whether that’s arts and crafts, reading, baking, educational games, outdoor adventures, trips to parks and museums, or simply exploring the world around us. I also enjoy preparing fresh, healthy meals and helping children develop positive routines and independence.
As a native Spanish speaker, I am delighted to introduce children to a second language through everyday activities, songs, stories, and conversation. Many families have appreciated the opportunity for their children to learn Spanish naturally while having fun.
I am currently working with a lovely family, and my position will be coming to an end as the child will be starting school. The family is very supportive and flexible regarding my finishing date, which allows me to find the right family for my next role.
I am now looking for a new position to start in September 2026, although I may be available earlier for the right family. Ideally, I am seeking a four-day-per-week role, but I am also open to a five-day position if required.
Families describe me as caring, trustworthy, reliable, proactive, and highly organised. I take great pride in building strong relationships with both children and parents and becoming a valued and trusted part of family life.
I have excellent references available and would love the opportunity to support a new family and help their children grow, learn, and thrive.
