Totally wonderful nanny&childminder

Our son Jude joined Carol just before he turned 1 and I cannot emphasise what a wonderful time he had with her. She is such a safe pair of hands who I wholeheartedly trust. She is great with Jude supporting him at every stage of his development journey. He so loved being with her and trotted off happily every morning. I couldn't want for more and seriously considering having another child just to have Carol in our life for longer.

Completely wonderful!

Our daughter Daisy started with Carol after I went back to work from Mat leave when she was just over 1. Carol has been completely superb and I genuinely could not recommend her more highly. Way way better than any nursery I have seen. Carol takes the kids out and about every day to different activities and often stops off in the park for a play. She is a complete natural with children - and always has a very calming and warm presence and you can tell she takes a real interest and pleasure in building relationships with the kids and spending time with them. My daughter is now best friends with the other two children who are looked after by Carol and the way they interact with each other says a lot about Carols care. It’s a big deal leaving your first child with someone else but I couldn’t have imagined a better person. All in all, Carol is completely superb.

Fantastic childminder !

Our little boy started with Carol when he was 11 months old and has stayed for 2 years. We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Carol, she’s been the most fantastic childminder we could have hoped to find. She’s been extremely reliable, trustworthy and supportive. Our son has flourished in her care, from a shy boy born in lockdown, wary of other children to a confident and outgoing toddler. He loves his outings to playgroup, and music classes and comes back full of enthusiasm for the days adventures. We love that he gets outside everyday and also has fun playing at home with the other children and in the garden. Carol has been so kind and shared her experience and wisdom around child development and milestones, offering us reassurance and support as first time parents. We love getting photos of his day and seeing all the fun he’s been having. We’re so sad to be moving on, and will no doubt be back with the next little one! We miss her already! We can’t recommend Carol highly enough.

Amazing Childminder :)

Our son started with Carol when he was 9 months old until he just turned 3. From the begin Carol was warm and kind and supportive and shared her experiences and advice for key milestones like the transition of from BF to bottle/cups and potty training.
I loved the structure of the week combining playgroup sessions with art and music classes. My son loved both and really enjoyed bringing home his art work each week or singing the new songs he'd learnt.
Carol helped build his confidence and ensured he was able to be himself, which we really valued.
He'll miss being there and we'll miss Carol, thanks for everything!

You won't get better than Carol!

My daughter has been with Carol for almost two years and we couldn't have wished for better support. Carol is everything a little person needs. She's warm, fun, trustworthy, focused on the child's development and very personalised. It is clear she loves to see children grow and flourish and in our case she's done an amazing job of building our daughter's confidence and ensuring she has a rewarding experience every day she's there. Daily outings, toys and books on rotation, delicious food for lunch and time to learn and play from other kids, our childminding experience has surpassed our expectations.

Best childminder around.

Our little boy started with Carol at the age of 7 months and until he was nearly 3 years old, and he absolutely loved it there. When Carol use to open this door in the mooring, our little boy would just walk in happy to see her and go straight to playroom and never looked back.. He loved all the playgroups that Carol use to take him to every week ( especially Mark's singing sessions and art classes).
Carol is super supportive and good in communicating about the children's development and provides daily update in the little book, which we enjoyed to read through every night. Even a year on from leaving Carol, our little ones keeps talking about the fun he use to have with Carol.
We just wish she had space to take the next little one as well.

Fantastic Childminder!

My son started with Carol at 20 months in 2020 and during his time with her he flourished and thrived in a way I could never have imagined. Carol is a highly experienced childminder and I couldn't have felt more at ease knowing that my son was in her care. Carol is kind and warm and she very quickly developed a close bond with my son. She loves children and is passionate about seeing them develop and grow.
Carol's home is a calm and safe environment, it is very clean and well organised. There is a spacious play room as well as a large garden for them to run around and explore. It's the perfect set up! Carol's days are well structured and balanced. She ensures the children have plenty of time outside in the parks or playgrounds, she takes them to music groups and has established with other childminders a small playgroup at a local venue which they do arts, crafts, singing and playing with other children. I loved that my son was getting lots of social interaction as well as creative time. My son would always come away from his days happy and content and with the largest smile on his face.
Carol always has time to discuss any concerns and sends daily photo and text updates. Overall Carol is an excellent childminder, she is reliable and trustworthy and I feel very lucky to have found her, she comes highly recommended!

The best childminder you will find!!

My eldest daughter spent 2 very happy years with Carol, starting at 12 months old when I went back to work. It was the best decision we could have made. I visited numerous nurseries that just didn’t click and left me panicking about returning to work, but knew within minutes of meeting Carol that I’d be completely happy leaving my daughter in her care.

I honestly can’t recommend Carol highly enough! My daughter loved her time with her, she really adored her and talks about her all the time now. The days were always really balanced and well structured with visits to playgroups each morning and plenty of down time too. My daughter always came home very happy and stimulated but never over-tired. She always (and I mean always..!) somehow came home immaculate too!

We had twins shortly before my daughter turned 2 and it was fantastic knowing we could rely on Carol to keep some consistency in her life. She was always a welcome voice of wisdom and we miss her already! Any family will be lucky to have her as part of their child’s life.

All-round phenomenal care!

Our son started with Carol at 8 months and to me as first-time mum, she very quickly settled my anxiety and nervousness about going back to work & leaving my son behind as he almost instantly took to her and settled-in and pretty soon started to look forward to the days with Carol!

Fast forward a year and he has blossomed into a curious and independent boy who loves meeting and socialising with other kids.
Top most liked/valued attributes of Carol:
1. Simply put; Carol is just very good with the little ones; she is warm, calm, kind but firm and structured and organised; giving the kids the perfect environment to feel at home and learn.
2. She magically somehow got my VERY fussy little man to eat!? Still not sure how, but I knew at least during the week he is going to be getting his fruit&veg in at Carol’s!
3. Our daily notes! I just loved reading what they got up to at Carol’s every day. The weekly program she follows means they do something outside every day (eg music classes, stay and play or park) so the little ones get plenty of stimulation
4. Very reliable - Carol was just a constant in our lives; always there, always ready, always knew what to do!
5. Accommodating/compassionate. Carol was always supportive and happy to chat about the various choices & dilemmas you are faced with as a parent (eg - dummy/not, trying out different foods during weaning, when to drop the bottle feeds, bedtime routines etc.) and I never felt pressured to adopt a choice but she was always willing to chat and share her experiences. Meant I could discuss my options with someone who also knows my son, and ultimately get support for whatever decision we make.

Wonderful experience

My two daughters were both with Carol from 2017-2018 and my youngest daughter still goes to Carol twice a week. They’ve both been extremely happy and settled and Carol provides them with a structured and balanced day with plenty of activities. We’ve been very happy with the service and setting that Carol provides. Having used a nursery previously, we found Carol a million times better than the nursery setting for preschool age children. They form a bond with Carol and feel safe and homely at her house. Highly recommend Carol to any parent.
