About Me

My name is Maureen Wood Friends, and family calls me Mo.

I provide a safe warm friendly and welcoming environment.

I have a clean DBS,

I'm 55 years of age . My first language is English.

I understand Welsh and speak it in basic conversation with children.

I provide childcare between 7am -6pm. Monday - Friday.

I do overnight care in your own home, providing it doesn't clash with my daily routine

I have been registered as a childminder since April 2002.

I have two children of my own, my son age 30 has moved out to start his new adventure and my daughter age 24 they also have a clean DBS

My son works full time, and my daughter works part-time.

I live in Llanfairpwll Anglesey, just a short walk to the local primary school and Ysgol Meithrin

I have a purpose built playroom/playhouse and canopy for outdoor play for my business and have a variety of toys to suit all ages. New born - 12 years

My garden has been fenced off for safety. The side gate that leads to the garden is locked at all times.

I have a variety of outdoor toys to suit all ages. 1-12 years of age.

In the event of requiring care for a child with special needs, please contact me to discuss the best care that I can provide for your child.

We visit the park, beach, wood's, National Trust and lots more places.

All the activities are included in the fees.

I do activities to suit the child and child's needs.

Example

Messy play, water play, baking, get your child involved in helping set the table, etc. turn taking, giving your child time, and to be listened to.

We as a family have pets, which are 3 Cat and a dog; which are all up to date with their vaccination.
