Hello my name is Michaela I have been qualified as a childminder since 2019 With an OFSTED rating of ‘Good’. Myself and my daughter both hold NVQ Level 3 Home-based childcare, paediatric first aid trained, safeguarding trained and all persons over the age of 16 are fully CRB checked who live within my home.
I successfully enrolled on a year long ‘Outdoor learning in the early years’ Level 3 early 2023 to expand on what I already do with the children and to learn new things too. The first module has been completed and met with fantastic feedback received from my tutor. I am now waiting for the official grading. This course is different to Forest School as it allows you to do what they do but also beyond the garden gate to explore the world around us.
No one in my home smokes and we currently have a friendly hamster.
We offer a home from home environment and work with parents to children’s needs are met
We have a vast range of toys, make-and-do, messy play, baking, games and educational toys to aid and enhance their development whilst in my care but my real focus is learning through play and ultimately outdoor play whether that’s at our home or elsewhere. My focus is on ensuring your child/children have an all round great experience learning through play helping them to gain confidence & working to goals. We also work with the parents to help make your child/children happy, independent, amazing knowledgeable young people for their adventures in the world ahead.
In addition we set aside time for fun, functional, educational visits to places such as; Boston Manor Park, Kew Gardens, The Steam museum, Hanwell zoo, Hounslow Urban Farm, to name a few and try to go once a quarter. (It is not always possible when we have school nursery pickups but we try).
We also attend playgroups to help with social skills and meeting and developing new friendships.
I am efficient with good communication, interpersonal and IT skills. I am highly adaptable and energetic; I love fitness, able to manage time effectively and meet objectives within specified times with successful results always looking for new opportunities to obtain new skills and experiences.
We currently do drop off and pick ups from St Pauls Brentford
References can be obtained either written or verbal with past and present families upon request.

I’m a new mom, my little one is currently 9 months and because me and my partner are both full time worker without any family we decide to get some help and look for a local Childmander.
We did many interviews and as a new mum I was very “judging” checking everything: cleaning of the house, positive energy, welcome feeling, professional attitude, patience with the little one ... it was really hard to find the perfect one!
Until we finally met Michaela, from the moment we saw her we knew she was the right one!
She is great in what she does, she is even an amazing person, not just a great Childmander!
I know that when my boy is with her , he is safe and I’m not worried at all.
Her and her daughter really are professional and trustful people.
I will surely recommend them in the future to everyone!!

Hello my lovely family and gorgeous boy, I have just seen this and have been reduced to tears reading your lovely amazing words.
It is very rare that we get feedback in this job if at all and you’ve blown me away. I know how hard it is to be a working mum as I was one once and your right, you need to see many care providers as possible and have more than one visit after narrowing it down. Your absolutely right when you say you know ‘the one’ that you are going to be able to trust with you most precious possession, your child. Equally you need someone who will be flexible and honest and able to discuss your child’s needs.
