About Me
I am a young lady with a great passion for children. I am organised, active, fun loving, punctual and helpful in all I do. I have worked within many different settings with children from 2 months upwards.
I have studied Early Years at university and I have received my foundation degree with the University of Huddersfield. I am originally from Greater Manchester but moved down 8 years ago to begin a new chapter of my life, I still visit home regularly with my partner as I am a very family orientated person. I love to travel and have been to many countries over the course of my life. I have a great passion for horses having one myself who I spend a lot of time with. I love spending time in the outdoors and I also volunteer with girlguiding helping to run a brownie pack.
My Experience
I have gained experience working in schools, nurseries and child care setting from school and throughout college and university. I have also been in full time work within a child care setting working with children from the age off 6 months old to 7 years old. During this time I implemented the EYFS throughout the setting and made sure children's development needs where met on a regular basis. I have worked with children above this age within schools but primarily I have done the younger children.
I also have 2 years experience being a Nanny, during this position I have been responsible for the childrens daily care routines and we also go out on daily excursions to toddler groups, music groups, swimming and soft play activities.
