About Me

Hello, name is Tomora Manifold, I have been married since 1990 to Steve and have 2 children Rebekah and Ben.

I am a volunteer of the St John Ambulance.

Steve is my husband, he is a full time First Aid Lecturer and on the odd occasion works from home. He is the South Staffs area manager of the St John.

Rebekah is a paediatric Nurse and Ben is a chef at Aston Marina.
Rebekah is married and doesn’t live on the premises.

I have been a registered childminder since 2000, I live in a three bedroom semi detached house with a conservatory, front and rear gardens.

The whole of the downstairs is used for childminding, this consists of lounge, large kitchen dinning area, conservatory . Access to the front and rear doors is via a door step .The rear garden is fully enclosed with a locked gate down the side entry.

The children have access to the kitchen for activities such as baking etc and they are fully supervised whilst in the kitchen.

In the rear garden I have slides, climbing frames, mud kitchen, pirate ship, bikes, cars and many, many more resources.

I live in a village which is 2 miles from the nearest town, also one mile away is the area of outstanding natural beauty of Cannock chase.

In the village there are a couple of shops and a play/park area for the children, and the local primary school.

Im registered with ofsted and follow the EYFS.

I use whatsapp to communicate and show what your child learning.

I am passionate about working with children and helping them learn and achieve their own potential goals

I have many resources to help them learn and grow their imagination.

We regularly go out to visit the local parks and chase and play groups. I am a member of the National Trust and we use there facilities for our ongoing activities and learning.

I am a member of Morton Michel, I have two Level 3 qualifications in Childminding Practice and Early Years Childcare and Education. I regularly attend paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safe guarding and keep all my certificates up to date. I also attend cpd training such as eyfs, autism, managing behaviour, covid etc, these can be face to face or through webinars.

At present I am registered for upto 6 children under age of 8.

I operate Monday to thursday 800 - 1700 hours (flexible). At the present moment I do school drop off/pickups at Etchinghill Primary Academy.
