The Most Wonderful Start We Could Have Given Our D

Our daughter started with Inayah and Artan when she was 10 months old. We spent a wonderful year with them. Every morning she was excited to see them, and the photos we received always showed her biggest smiles. She would happily sing and call their names, right up until the moment she fell asleep. Even her clothes coming home covered in dirt and paint always made us smile — it was proof that she had another wonderful, fun-filled day.
We can confidently say that our daughter had the very best start, thanks to Inayah and Artan.

We eventually had to leave the UK for work, but Inayah and Artan were actually the reason we tried so hard to extend our stay. Even though many things would have been easier for us back in Japan, it was incredibly hard to leave such an amazing childcare environment.

Inayah and Artan observe each child very carefully. They notice signs of new development early and gently encourage children to develop at the right time for them. Their approach is not simply based on textbooks — it’s their dedication, warmth, and deep understanding of children that allowed our daughter to grow at her own pace.

She learned baby signs very early on and began speaking English remarkably well for her age, despite coming from a Japanese-only home environment. Now about 90% of her vocabulary is English, and she adds new words almost every day.

Thqey also show great respect for different languages and cultures. They even learned a few Japanese words for our daughter. In fact, she never said “Arigato” at home — she learned it from Artan!

The activities Inayah plans are always thoughtful and creative. We still can’t believe how she makes it fun and different every single day. Everything is perfectly designed for the children’s developmental stage and often tailored to their current interests — whether it was bubbles, climbing, farm animals, or Elsa.

And their garden is truly a dreamland for children. Our daughter always had the best time playing there.

She eats extremely well there too, and is completely obsessed with anything Inayah cooks.

They truly value their partnership with parents too. The team communicates with us daily and offers thoughtful guidance on how we can support our daughter’s development at home as she reaches new milestones. They also kindly organise garden play sessions for parents, giving us the wonderful opportunity to watch our daughter happily playing and thriving.

Their daughters, Asiyah and Zainab, have been the most wonderful big-sister figures to our daughter. They are so kind, patient and caring with her, teaching her new words and songs along the way. Our daughter adores them and will miss them very much.

We feel incredibly lucky that our daughter had her first year of childcare with Inayah and Artan. We couldn’t have asked for a better start.

An outstanding childminder, the very best

My daughter has been in the care of Inayah since April 2024 and I am beyond grateful for the care and attention my child (now 2 years old) has been receiving. From day one, my daughter’s experience has been nothing short of amazing— Inayah has always gone above and beyond to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for my daughter.

The level of care Inayah provides is truly outstanding. She is undoubtedly the best in her field in the Pimlico/Westminster area. Not only does she cater to all of my child's physical and emotional needs, but she also fosters an atmosphere where they learn real life practical skills and where learning and play go hand in hand. My child’s social, cognitive, and emotional development thrive under her guidance.

Inayah is incredibly warm and approachable, her home is my daughter’s second home - there’s not a day when my daughter isn’t happy to be dropped off and she is always in a great mood when I pick her up. Her daughters and her husband Artem are the kindest and the most welcoming. The daily updates, photos, and feedback on what my child did each day are so helpful, and it’s evident that she has a genuine bond with every child in her care.

What I particularly appreciate is her attention to detail—whether it’s a special craft activity, a themed educational game, or outings to different playgrounds, local playgroups, libraries or museums, Inayah always goes the extra mile. Inayah also encourages us as parents to bring home different educational elements to continue the learning process at home over a weekend, which is so thoughtful. The setting is clean, organised, and full of age-appropriate toys and activities.

It is clear that Inayah is passionate about child development and creating a positive, loving environment for children to grow. I am so grateful to have found such a reliable, caring, and professional childminder, and I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for outstanding childcare.

An outstanding, Montessori-trained childminder

Inayah is an outstanding, Montessori-trained childminder, a pure gem. I felt so lucky to have found her to look after our daughter. Our daughter started with Inayah just before she turned one and we've been there for nearly a year now. For Inayah, children’s personal social and emotional development is of the highest priority. She has extensive background information from parents to successfully meet children’s needs upon arrival. My daughter settled incredibly quickly, which was a great relief to me as I dreaded the thought of dealing with a child who would cry at drop-offs. My daughter has thrived in Inayah 's nurturing, homely environment, where she made huge progress in her communication, social skills, personal hygiene and motor skills as she started walking just before her first birthday. Inayah places a strong emphasis on increasing my daughter's language and communication skills, and made such great efforts in speaking French to our daughter with her two daughters and her husband Artan.
Inayah clearly made all her effort to make my daughter feel safe and confident, cared for and comfortable. It was delightful to see my daughter come back home happy and bouncing out, singing new songs and learning new English words. My daughter, her daughter and the other children Inayah takes care of love going to the Pimlico Toy Library, Heartbeeps, the parks, the London Zoo. They even had the opportunity to go to Margate and other places outside London for a day out!
Inayah understands how children learn and has extremely high expectations of them. She provides high-quality resources such as organising Montessori activities, reading activities and uses learning opportunities to the maximum to enhance children's play. She plans her days very carefully and an exceptionally broad and rich curriculum, to provide stimulating and creative experiences.
My daughter constantly developed new skills and consolidated others which helped her to be a fulfilled child. Inayah is an expert in supporting young children to develop the self-help skills and confidence for the next stage in their learning. She provides children with a very broad range of opportunities to be independent and autonomous. For example, all children master new skills, such as discarding litter in the bin, putting on their socks and shoes, and washing their hands independently. Inayah is an outstanding role model and my daughter thrived on Inayah’'s energetic praise to further boost their self-esteem.
We communicated with Inayah extremely well, and Inayah was very understanding anytime I had to deal with difficult situations at work and with family. Her care is exceptional and the progress my daughter made has exceeded my expectations: my daughter is becoming a bilingual person and is extremely intelligent thanks to her creative activities and stimulation. My daughter's use of the English language is now strong. She very quickly learnt new words in English and can communicate using Makaton. I was encouraged to support children's learning at home and I have learned a lot as a new mother on how to raise my daughter while adopting a positive parenting style. Inayah engaged with me to support my daughter's learning and education to a very high level. Finally, Inayah has an excellent understanding of her responsibilities to protect my daughter from harm. She is very familiar with local safeguarding procedures and knows who to contact should she have any concerns about the welfare of children in her care.
I find it hard to express how grateful I am that we found Inayah and consider us to be very fortunate. We had to leave Inayah since we were relocated outside London and we are heartbroken to leave her. Anyone who is lucky enough to secure a place with her will have such a great experience.I cannot recommend her enough - Inayah's is an absolutely brilliant setting for your little ones!
