About Me
I am an experienced and fully qualified nanny with both sole charge nanny experience and day nursery experience. I’m also a mum to my energetic 7 year old son.
I'm a friendly, caring, reliable and trust worthy person who has always loved caring for children. I have worked in nurseries and nannied for over 16 years. I now work as a welsh government flying start practitioner in a day nursery caring for 2–3 year olds.
A brief summary of my nanny positions are:
Full time live out nanny for 2 lovely boys for 2.5 years taking on all cooking and day to day duties-job came to a natural end when boys were old enough for school.
Nanny for twin boys from age 9 months -3.5 years. I also cared for their little sister from when she was 9 months -1.5years. This Position ended in June 2016 when the boys started school.
I also nannied for now 11 year old twins(boy and girl). I had been with them since they were 2. I continued this position after having my own son as the bond with the family was fantastic and they allowed me to bring my son along.
Currently a Welsh government Flying start practitioner-position started in September 2021, working within a day nursery.
Full clean driving licence. DBS checked.
I am currently working in a nursery, but my passion is with nannying as you can create much better bonds with both the children and their families, so i am looking at returning to nannying if the right job came up that fitted around my sons school hours and before/after school club (8:30-5:00)
Ideally term time only or during School holidays, allowing me to bring my son to work from time to time(working around my partners hours)
I am registered as self employed, taking the hassle away from yourselves of tax and national insurance contributions however more than happy to change to employed if required.
I live in Cefn Mawr, Wrexham but I am happy to travel in the Wrexham, Mold & Chester area.

My Experience
Upon leaving college-3 years in a private day nursery (children aged 3 months to 5 years). I was based in the baby room caring for children aged 3 months to 18 months.
2009-2019: Multiple nanny positions. I built strong bonds with all the children in my care as well as the parents. Still in contact with the families over 10 years later.
I took on all day to day tasks- usual duties included cooking, school runs, baking, craft/messy play, planning age appropriate play activities, help with homework/reading/writing, bathing the children(and getting ready for bed) and light housework. I also took the children to groups and days out etc.
I have my own 7 year old energetic son.
Currently a welsh government flying start practitioner within a day nursery.
I am able to provide plenty of references from parents/families I have worked for in the past.
My Qualifications
8 GCSE's grades A-B
CACHE diploma in childcare and education level 3.
CACHE playwork level 2.
first aid trained.
NSPCC Child Protection Awareness
food hygiene.
DBS checked.
Have my own son.

My Fees
- Nannying from £13.50 per hour (gross)
Competitive rates if you have 2 or more children.
I am happy to do light housework and cook good healthy meals for children -Light housework includes hoover, dusting, washing etc whilst children nap.
