About Me

Hi there!

I’m 31 years old and a mum to a lovely 12 month -old little boy. I have a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Working with Children and Young People, alongside a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education.

I have always had a genuine passion for working with children, supporting their development and helping them reach those all-important milestones. Having worked with children from as young as 3 months through to 12 years old, I have gained a wealth of experience across different ages, abilities and stages of development.

My childcare journey began at just 14 years old, when I started babysitting and working as a mother’s help for a busy family of six. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in babysitting, nannying and becoming a trusted part of family life.

I have recently finished a long-standing nanny role, where I built a wonderful relationship with the family over the years. During this role, I also cared for a little boy with Special Educational Needs (SEN), which gave me valuable experience in adapting my approach to meet individual needs, providing tailored support and helping children thrive in their own way.

Alongside my hands-on childcare experience, I have also taught childcare qualifications at a local college, sharing my knowledge and experience with students working towards careers in childcare. This was a lovely opportunity to combine my passion for early years development with supporting and educating others.

Now that I have a little boy of my own, I am looking for a new opportunity that offers a better balance around family life.

Ideally, I am looking for a part-time nannying position, potentially with a family who would be open to me bringing my little boy along. I feel this could be a lovely opportunity for the children to grow, play and socialise together. However, I am very open to conversations and exploring different arrangements to find the right fit for everyone.

I am caring, reliable, experienced and genuinely love what I do. Becoming a mum myself has only strengthened my understanding of how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your little ones.

I hold a full UK driving licence and have my own car. I am also registered with professional nanny agencies and can provide excellent references from previous families.
