Family Assistant / After School Support Needed – Reliable, Warm & Organised (Glasgow)

I am looking for a dependable, trustworthy and proactive Family Assistant to help support our home and after-school routine for my youngest son who is 7. I need someone calm, organised and reliable who can help me keep family life running smoothly.

The right person will be kind, sensible, confident with children, and able to work independently without needing lots of supervision.

Responsibilities will include:

• School pick-ups
• Helping with homework and evening routine
• Preparing simple dinners/snacks for son.
• Occasional evening cover if I have work events or meetings
• Additional support during school holidays
• Light household help related to keeping the family routine running smoothly

Ideal person:

• Driver with own car preferred
• Experience with children essential
• Mature and dependable
• Organised and proactive
• Flexible where needed
• Comfortable working in a family home environment
• PVG/DBS and references preferred

Hours:

Initially looking for part-time support, likely 3 afternoons per week (approx. 3pm–7pm), with flexibility for additional evening cover and school holiday support.

This role could grow for the right person.

Pay:

Competitive and dependent on experience (£15–£20 per hour depending on experience, reliability and flexibility).
