My Summary
About Me
I am a private piano teacher, teaching in pupils' homes in Farnham and the surrounding area.
My aim in teaching piano is to inspire my pupils to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of music. My lessons are individually tailored to the needs of each pupil.
Whether working towards an ABRSM or RockSchool graded exam, learning a favourite piece of music, or preparing for Grade 5 Theory, my focus is on making lessons interesting, instructional and fun.
My Experience
I am an experienced piano teacher in both private and school settings. Alongside teaching my private pupils I am also a peripatetic piano teacher at Prior's Field School in Godalming, and at Edgeborough School in Farnham.
As well as teaching I also play in a band, and write and record my own music.
My Qualifications
- DipABRSM (Diploma in Instrumental Teaching from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).
- Grade 8 practical piano (distinction)
- Grade 6 theory
- I am a member of Musicians’ Union
- I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate
