ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Sally, a registered childminder in Upper Norwood (SE19), between Norbury and Crystal Palace.
OFSTED RATING: GOOD, in every area
FOOD HYGIENE RATING: 4/5
I have spaces available now for children from 9 months to school age, 8am to 5.30pm, 48 weeks a year.
FUNDING
I accept the 30 funded hours for working parents from 9 months, the 15 hours for 2, 3 and 4 year olds, Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers.
A DAY WITH US
- A big garden with astroturf, so the children play outside all year round, not just in summer.
- Regular walks to the woods over the road, where we collect leaves, conkers and twigs and watch the seasons change.
- Every meal is freshly cooked each day, with healthy snacks in between.
- A playroom with books, role play, painting, baking and lots of messy play.
- I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and keep a daily diary for each child, so I can focus on what each child needs next.
- You get updates and photos through the day.

EXPERIENCE
16 years working in childcare, with children from newborns to 14 years old. I have been a registered childminder since 2018 and have two boys of my own.
QUALIFICATIONS
NVQ Level 2 in childcare. Baby and toddler first aid. Food hygiene training.
AVAILABILITY
Spaces available now. Hours 8:00am to 5:30pm.
FEES
£68 for a full day, non-funded days. For funded places, let's talk about what works for your family.

My child has been at Sallys for 3 years now and it has become her 2nd home, she loves going and I have always felt comfortable knowing she’s being looked after incredibly well, and having a mix of ages to play with has been great! Sally is kind, caring, thoughtful, loving and stable.
My child has been very happy at Sallys over the years and I can’t highly recommend her enough!

As a first-time mum who was initially very anxious, handing over my 10-month-old was a huge deal. But Sally and Ray’s home has truly become her second home. Within just a couple of weeks, she had settled in, and now she practically skips through the door without even looking back! (At most, a dirty look “why are you still here?!”)
She comes home every day having grown in confidence, and I’m constantly amazed by how much she learns and picks up while she’s there. The food she eats is healthy, there are always different activities to enjoy, and the rotation of toys keeps everything fresh and exciting.
I still have absolutely no idea how they manage to get her to come home so clean, either! 😂
Most importantly, I know she is happy, safe and loved. I couldn’t ask for more, and I’m so grateful to Sally and Ray for making what was initially such a big step for me feel so easy.
Her space won’t be coming up any time soon! We feel so lucky to have found Sally and Ray, and my 2yo is clearly very happy right where she is!

My daughter went to Sally’s full time from the age of 1, right up to the start of reception - 3 years in total. Sally was absolutely incredible with her. Provided updates throughout the day, made healthy delicious food and worked with us to continue normal routine. My daughter learned key skills and I was kept updated on her development. She would come home regularly with arts and crafts, and baked goods which Sally would make with the children.
It has now been a year since my daughter stopped going to Sally’s and she still talks about her and tells me regularly that she misses going to her home. This is the incredible impact Sally had on my daughter. I highly highly recommend Sallys services to anyone!

I wholeheartedly recommend Sally.
Sally has cared for my 4 year old daughter since she was 9 months old. My daughter loves her time at Sally’s and has made lots of little friends including Sally’s son who is the same age. She often asks “Is it a Sally day today?” and is excited to go. Sally provides a welcoming, warm and loving home from home, with lots of enriching activities and a good range of toys. She makes a variety of home cooked meals for the children and I am confident that my daughter will have an enjoyable day when she attends.
The children all clearly love her and Sally communicates regularly with us via a book and often sends photographs; she answers any queries promptly. I really appreciate the little personal touches such as cards and small handmade gifts and baking for occasions such as birthdays and Mother’s Day etc. The children have enjoyed parties together when one of their birthdays come round.
Sally has been very flexible and stepped in when we have needed extra days at short notice; my daughter is always happy to attend which enables me to leave for work stress and hassle free.

Sally has had our son since he was 9 months old and has a lovely welcoming family home. Over our time with Sally she has supported us and our son to reach his key milestones (from walking to potty training) and incorporates EYFS into the daily activities. Sally knows what our son is interested in and how to keep him engaged, her food is always freshly homemade and healthy and we have been really happy with how she supports our son’s development
All these years on, our son still gets excited to go to Sally’s each week and communication is always great with updates through the day as to what he is getting up to, as well as notice around holidays etc. we cannot recommend Sally highly enough

My daughter has been looked after by Sally since she was 10 months old (now 3.5) and we have loved it. Her home is clean, comfortable and has a lovely playroom full of toys. The children spend lots of time outside when the weather's nice and Sally makes the effort with early years education. She does lots of arts and crafts and cooking with them as well. Meals are healthy and home cooked and she shares activities, photos and menus on a special app which is a really nice touch. Highly recommended!
