About Me

My name is Sophie Corrigan and I am an Ofsted registered childminder, graded "good" by Ofsted and live in Werrington. I live in my home with my husband Sean and our 3 daughters.

I provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop through adult led activities as well as child led activities.

I like to attend clubs each day of the week and go for walks or do outdoor play everyday, weather dependent. We also like to do lots of messy play. I like to plan activities to do each day as well as letting the children have free time to play themselves.

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage ensuring all the activities i provide helps the children to learn and develop through play and having fun.

I have public liability insurance through (Morton Michel) Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years, my vehicle is fully insured for business use, which allows us to get out and about. Myself and Sean have both been fully DBS checked and I am pediatric first aid trained.

My Experience

I have been childminding for 8 years. I have experience looking after my own daughters and teaching them new things as well as helping out with children in my family.
