About Me

Hi, I'm Amy. I’m a mum to two children age 17 and 21

I am reliable, caring and energetic nanny. I like to make things fun and be creative and imaginative in the things i do with the children i care for.

I love to take the children out to parks, woods, picnics, library, toddler groups, soft play, swimming, anywhere! I also do lots of fun creative things at home like art/craft, cooking, singing/dancing, playing imaginative games, fun science, reading books and lots more!

I have a genuine love for children and very much enjoy caring for them.

My Experience

I have worked in childcare for over 20 years, caring for children of all ages from newborn to teens. I worked as a nanny, nursery nurse, care assistant and family support. I have lots of experience with babies. I have also volunteered for a children's hospice, caring for children with special needs. I have been a nanny to children with autism and adhd. I studied NVQ 3 In Early Years, i am Pediatric First Aid qualified and have a clean driving license.

I work as a self employed Nanny.
For the last seven years I have been running a club for children of all ages, doing various workshops and providing a great space for free play and exploration. I am also an artist and I run art workshops for children. I previously worked as a nanny to two children age 3 and 1yrs. I then cared for a 2yr old boy and for an 7yr old on an ad hoc basis. Then I cared for two children age 5yrs and 10mths.

My Availability

Ideally i am looking for 2/3 days a week in the daytime. I will consider weekends. I can be flexible with days and times so would suit someone who works shifts/unsociable hours..
