I live in the Bradmore area of Wolverhampton with my 2 boys. I have lived here for over 20 years after moving to Wolverhampton to attend the University.
I have had my second Ofsted inspection and received another good. The inspector wrote that children gain a secure foundation for their future learning and display positive attitudes to learning. She also wrote that I provide the children with a wide range of interesting experiences and am a good role model and children learn to share, take turns and display good manners.
I provide a homely environment for children, and plan activities that follow children’s interests and encourage them to explore the world around them.
I send photos and videos during the day so you are able to see what you child is doing throughout the day.
My Experience
I have over 11 years experience of being a childminder and previously to this I have worked in primary schools and secondary schools. I attend plenty of play groups, soft play areas and local parks and nature reserves, as well as National Trust properties. I work closely with several other childminders and we meet every day at various activities. We provide cover for each other during holidays and illness.
I have experience of looking after newborns and children of all ages. I have a variety of toys both inside and outside and the children have access to the whole of the downstairs as well as the garden.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid
Diploma in Home Based Childcare.
Food Hygiene and Safety Level 2.
Nutrition in the Early Years.
Improving Children’s Learning Through Play.
Child Development.
Outdoor Play.
A magical place to learn.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fees are £50 for a 10 hour day. This includes breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks, outings and activities.
I do not provide lunch and parents are expected to provide a packed lunch.
I am able to offer all available funding.

My son started with Nikki in September 2014 at 10 months old. He loved Nikki, her sons in fact her family very much. He enjoyed all his time spent within Nikki's care. Many of times cried to come home! We recently (September 2015) had to sadly say goodbye to Nikki due to us relocating. I highly recommend Nikki as a child minder, my son learnt a lot, she was very patient with him and totally understanding for all our needs around my working hours etc.
