I have experience working with children and children with special needs as I have cared for a family friend’s daughter who is autistic, and I have also cared for my cousin who requires special needs support with autism. This requires a lot of patience and time.
I have also babysat for parents through nursery for children aged 1 to 5. I have experience in all fields of care from infants, toddlers, preschool, teenagers, and older adults.
I had worked as a support Assistant from Feb 2012 - Nov 2012 at bruntsfield house nursery. I have experience in all different age categories such as babies (5-9 months), toddlers. ensuring the environment is safe and clean, cleaning and tidying, changing nappies, organising playful activities for the children, preparing snacks, handling injuries and first aid and ensuring children are comfortable and happy!
