Hello, my name is Dolly and I’m based in Bermondsey, London. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, from newborns to teenagers.
I hold a full UK driving licence and am a mum to a friendly and playful 4-year-old boy, who would often accompany me during holiday work—something many families have welcomed and enjoyed.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in nurseries, primary schools, as a full-time and part-time nanny, and provided ad-hoc babysitting. I have excellent references available on request and have been fortunate to form lasting bonds with wonderful families through this work.
Working with children has always been my passion. From a young age, I knew this was the path I wanted to follow, and I’ve since obtained the necessary qualifications to support that goal. I would describe myself as confident, loyal, caring, generous, and encouraging. I strive to be a positive role model and always bring a warm and nurturing presence to the children in my care.

My Experience
Growing up in a big family I am constantly surrounded by children of all ages. I do a lot of babysitting and have studied childcare NVQ level 2 with experience of working in a nursery.

My Availability
I am currently a part time nanny and work as midday meal supervisor in a local school. I am due to finish with my current nanny family in June 2026. I am available during summer holiday (with my son) then due back to school September, 12pm-1.30pm Mon-Fri. Willing to leave the school job with the right family/circumstances.
Depending on school/area I am available from 1.45pm Mon- Fri and weekends.

Dolly looked after my 3 children (then aged 10,10 and 12) as an after school nanny for 2 school years. She would pick the younger ones from school, take them to activities on some days, make the family an evening meal a few days a week. Dolly was great with the kids, very professional, tidy, always punctual and reliable. I would highly recommend Dolly as an after school nanny and babysitter.

Having Dolly as our nanny for the past 10 years was great, both of our kids loves her. She's naturally very good with the kids and very reliable. You won't be disappointed hiring her.
