About Me
I am a mother of 2 grown up boys. I have for over 30 years been working with children and it is my passion. I love nature and being outdoors. I enjoy walking, swimming, baking, gardening, and anything creative or messy. I have a dog and I am very pet friendly.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience of working with young children. I have been a daily nanny for one family for 7 years, worked in a private school with children aged 2.5 - 7 years. I then for 10 years owned a small private nursery working with children aged 2.5 - 5 years. I am now currently working part time at a nursery. I am very passionate and enthusiastic about working with children. I have a good sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and an excellent knowledge of children's stages of development, I currently run a nurture group, children's yoga, and mindfulness with children in my setting. I appreciate all children learn at different stages and to play is the most important part of learning. I like to think I create a relaxed, calm and friendly environment in which children can flourish and learn.
My Qualifications
I currently hold a full DBS, First Aid, Safeguarding, NVQ Level 3, and Nurture training level 3.
I have also attending lots of other courses over the years whilst working with children.
My Availability
I am available from September on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but I can be a little flexible with these days.
