Hello, im Beverley Hodson. Im an ofsted registered childminder, 39yrs old and i love working in the childcare industry.
Im a happy, bubbly and reliable person who can easily adapt to a familys way of life.
I have a clean driving license and own a car so travel is no problem at all.
I adore children of all ages and love looking after them, playing and watching them grow.
I adhere to the EYFS and enjoy teaching through play.
My Experience
I became a childminder 3yrs ago but have 10 years experience working as a nanny for various age groups.
I have experience looking after 2 boys for a year, they were 9 and 11yrs. This was an after school job where i was responsible for preparing dinner and helping with homework until their parents finished work. Unfortunatly because the position was only part time i had to let it go.
I was then looking after 2 children aged 4 and 6yrs, which i did till i was no longer needed, they are now both at school full time and do various after school activities. This was a job where i had sole responsibility of caring for them, playing and learning.
i then went on to look after a lovely little girl who had just turned 1 yr old, i was with the family for a year until they moved away to be closer to their relatives. This job involved feeding, playing learning and changing.
I then went on to look after 18month old twins on a part time basis. I minded the twins up until they turned 3 years old.. This was normally just at the weekends as their mother is a wedding photographer. Again this job involves, feeding, playing, learning and changing.
My Qualifications
I am qualified to a level 3 in childcare, have a childcare diploma and an up to date paediatric first aid certificate. Ive also done a child safery course and have full understanding of the EYFS. Im ofsted registered with a CRB check so am able to take childcare vouchers.
I had my ofsted inspection in November and recieved a GOOD grade.
My Availability
I have 1 full time space available and 3 school pick up from willingdon available.
I do not work the summer holidays.
