About Me
I live in a semi detached house in Cookridge, with my partner Bob. My children have grown up and moved on, but are still regular visitors to my home. All of my close family members have had the necessary checks (DBS)
I provide a home from home environment for the children in my care. I provide many toys and resources to create a stimulating environment for them. I offer a range of play opportunities both indoors and outdoors. I attend larger groups so the children can mix with other children, which also offers support in developing their social skills.
My Experience
I started Childminding in 1992 when my own children were very young. I had been working in a local pre school but decided I wanted to start up my own business in child care. I have a Level 3 qualification in childrens care, learning and development. I have undertaken extra training to enhance my provision further. I have enjoyed positive feedback regarding my provision from families who have used my service. I continue to work hard to improve the outcomes for all of the children in my care. This is reflected in my Ofsted reports. I have been awarded Outstanding 4 times. I am proud of my achievements so far, and continue to seek out new ways to improve my practice.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Children’s care, learning and development.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety & Catering
Level 3 Paediatric first aid - up to date.

I work 4 full days with EYFS children

£5.50 per hour - minimum fee £38.50 per day.
