A little about me and my family
My name is Lisa, I’m 42 years old and I live in Droitwich on the Copcut Estate with my husband, who is also my childminding assistant, and our four children aged 14, 13, 9 and 8.
We have a very busy family home, which includes our three little puppies, Buster, Bella and Benny, two outdoor bunnies and two tortoises called Tiddles and Tilly!
Our pets are part of our family, and we believe it is important to teach children kindness, respect and how to handle animals gently. The children are taught to use gentle hands and treat all living creatures with care.
Children’s safety is always our priority. Our pets are never left alone with children and are generally kept separate during the childcare day. Any planned pet interaction takes place at designated times and is fully supervised.
We also have robust health and safety policies in place to support the safe care of both children and animals.
My childcare experience:
I have many years of experience within the childcare sector, including running a toddler group, working in nurseries, babysitting and working as a childminding assistant.
I am passionate about providing a happy, welcoming environment where children feel safe, secure, valued and loved.
As an Ofsted-registered childminder, I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, which supports children’s learning, development, health and welfare.

Within my home-from-home setting, I provide a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment where each child’s individual interests, abilities and next steps are at the heart of their learning.
I believe children learn best when they feel happy, confident and supported, with plenty of opportunities to explore, discover and try new things.
We love getting out and about and experiencing the world beyond our front door. Our outings may include:
Toddler groups
Parks and playgrounds
Woods and nature walks
Farms
Forest school experiences
Soft play
These experiences help children develop confidence, independence, social skills and an understanding of the world around them.
Alongside our outings, we enjoy a wide range of activities within our setting, including:
Cooking and baking
Arts and crafts
Imaginative play and role play
Storytimes and singing
Sand and water play
Themed tuff trays and sensory activities
Activities are planned around the children's interests and developmental needs, helping them learn through meaningful, enjoyable experiences.
Independence is a very important part of our learning.
We encourage children to develop everyday skills at their own pace, from putting on their own coats and shoes to washing their hands, opening their lunchboxes and learning to look after their belongings.
These little achievements help build confidence, self-esteem and the foundations for future learning.

Our Ofsted inspection
We are incredibly proud to have our first graded Ofsted inspection results published!
Our inspection recognised three Strong standards and three Expected standards, and we were delighted with the outcome.
The inspector commented on how lovely our setting was and how happy and settled the children were. This means so much to us, as creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment is at the heart of everything we do.

My Experience
I have many years experience working in nurseries as a nursery nurse, running a play group for 0-4 year olds and babysitting children of all ages aswell as experience with before and after school children.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ 3 in child care. I also have my paediatric first aid and designated safeguarding lead in children, I also have my DBS check complete plus excellent references.
My Availability
Week days 8am until 5pm monday to Thursday and Friday 8am - 4pm all year round excluding my own holidays and all bank holidays.
I accept children in my setting from 0-4 years.
I accept all funding for ages 9 months and over aswell as Tax free childcare.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Funded places available.
£6 an hour outside of the funding.
Funding is term time only so my fee applies during half terms.
My Local Schools

We couldn’t be happier with Lisa’s Happy Home and the care our 2-year-old son receives. He absolutely loves going, which gives us so much reassurance and peace of mind knowing he’s happy, settled and so well looked after.
Each day is packed with fun, engaging activities that not only keep the children entertained but also support their learning, development and confidence. It’s lovely to see how much he enjoys his time there and how much he continues to learn and grow.
It’s incredibly attentive, caring and dedicated, making sure the children receive plenty of individual attention in a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment. It’s clear how much thought and effort goes into creating a happy, stimulating space where the children feel safe, supported and encouraged to develop.
We’re so grateful for the care and attention Lisa provides, and it’s reassuring to know our son is in such good hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lisa’s Happy Home to any parent looking for a caring, engaging and trustworthy childcare setting.

Lisa & Neil have been looking after our daughter for over a year now and she is absolutely thriving. She adores her time at Lisa’s Happy Home and has made a wonderful group of friends. We visited lots of childminders before meeting Lisa & Neil and I knew instantly that it was the place for our daughter. They look after her like she’s one of their own and I’ve never known a childminder to provide such an extensive and varied experience for their children. Lisa & Neil truly go the extra mile and have created a wonderful community which we feel truly privileged to be a part of. One of the best things about Lisa is that she keeps me up to date on every day our daughter is with her - she knows I like to get regular updates and I love receiving the photos she sends me so I can see that our daughter is happy and having fun.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Lisa & Neil more highly - there isn’t anyone I’d rather leave our daughter with!

My child attends Lisa’s happy home and absolutely loves it! She’s developing, making friendships and excitedly runs to the door each morning ready to go! With Lisa you always know what’s planned for the week, from woodland walks, play groups and getting involved in the kicthen. Lisa and her husband Neil really take on the kids as if they were their own, and we get loads of photos throughout the day too.
It really gives us peace of mind knowing our daughter is going to a childminder who really shows they love what they do.
The space itself involves most of the downstairs, with a lovely garden for the kids too, with outside play and toys. The children have a dedicated dining area in the kitchen, and loads of toys to choose from in the living room.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice to send our child to Lisa’s happy home. If you’re thinking of sending your child, we highly recommend!

My daughter loves spending time in Lisa's pleace. Settling process went really easy and smooth. I always know what and where they're doing - communication and planning skills on top level. Lisa has got amazing house fully equipped with normal toys and learning toys. She's got beautiful garden with rabbits and cat. Learning kids and developing their skills seems to be passion for her which is amazing. Lisa and her pupils attending to many toddlers groups (almost everyday!) which has positive impact for kids social skills and learning.
I couldn't find better place for my daughter - honestly if I could I'll give 10 stars.
I can reccomend Lisa's buisness to anybody which is looking for safe, clean, respectful place for their kids full of learning, developing and play.
