About Me
I am a 24 year old fully qualified Norland Nanny. I have 6 years plus experience taking care of children and have taken my qualifications around the world. I have been working towards my Paramedic degree whilst working on the road as an Emergency Medical Technician on a 4 days on/4 days off rota. Unfortunately I damaged my back on duty and even though I have fully recovered I have decided to take a step back from the ambulance service and return to nannying. I am looking for full time/temporary/part time Nanny/Babysitting/ad hoc work. I am a very friendly person and pride myself on my communication skills. I hate to disappoint and take every challenge thrown at me with a can do attitude. I love to have fun but also can be firm when needed.
My Experience
I have plenty of child care experience behind me. In Australia I worked for a professional family with 3 lovely girls. I worked 8 hours a day Monday to Friday for 9 months. My duties included school runs, cooking, light has keeping and the general organisation of the household. I made sure I planned age appropriate activities for the children during the holidays and I was never afraid to get messy. Before Australia I worked in Central London for a Family of 4 children and was in the position for a 2 years. Their ages range from 16 months to 12 years. I worked Monday to Friday 7am-7pm and loved every minute. I have a great relationship with my employers and the children in my care and I worked very hard to make sure that I am the best I can be in my practice and always have a can do attitude. My responsibilities included the day to day running of the household and everything to do with the children between Monday and Friday. I am very organised as my role was very demanding. On top of that I have taken up a great deal of temporary roles between jobs. I trained at the prestigious Norland College and gained a lot of experience with many different age groups during my 2 years there.
My Qualifications
I have a Norland Diploma, A Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education. I am a fully Qualified Lifeguard and hold both a Paediatric first aid qualification and a First Aid at Work. I now work as an Emergency Medical Technician, so have extended emergency medical training and progressing to a paramedic degree. I have advanced and blue light driving training and have a calm attitude in difficult situations.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday and am keen for as much work as possible so will do the best I can to meet your needs.
My Fees
I believe given my qualification and my experience £12 an hour is a fair rate. However I am very keen to work and happy to be flexible on the hourly rate.
