About Me
Hello, I’m Sophie! I’m a very experienced (14yrs) nanny from Balham and I’m looking to work three full days a week as the little girls I currently look after will be starting school in September. I hold a full CRB/DBS check and an OFSTED approved paediatric first aid training certificate. I have fourteen years experience and still regularly look after previous children I have nannied over the years. I spend the other two days a week in recording studios all over London, recording and writing pop songs for various pop bands/pop stars! My super powers include cooking, playing piano, playing guitar, singing songs and writing ryhmes. I have 11 GCSE’s A*-B and 4 A-levels A-B. I also hold qualifications in counselling, neuro-linguistic programming and coaching. My mum is a retired school teacher of thirty years so I guess looking after little ones runs in the family! On top of my regular children, I nanny for five other families on an ad-hoc basis when available.
My Experience
Nanny to little girl 5 (since 14 months) and 4 (since six months) Jan 2021 - present
I look after two little girls once a week in Battersea but will be leaving due to the youngest starting school in September. Duties include, days out around London, cooking, baby gym, general play, nap time etc
Nanny to two little girls 9 (since she was 2) and 4 (since a baby) 2018 - present
Sibyl started school so I left but came back when her sister was born. I am currently with them two days a week but will be leaving at the end of August when the youngest starts school. The family have become like my own (as has her pet puppy!) Duties included, nursery, cooking, playdates, music, days out, bath time, bedtime and occasional weekends and overnights when parents are away.
Nanny to boy 5 (since he was 2) 2016 - 2018
Linus started school but I was with him two days per week for two and a half years and still to ad hoc school pick ups and babysitting for his family. Duties included cooking, play dates, swimming, music, the park, music groups, bath time and bed time. I still very much feel apart of the family!
Nanny to two children 7 and 5 (since they were 3 -5) - 2014- 2016
I nannied two children for two years in north London. Duties included school drop off and collection, piano practise, cooking healthy and wholesome meals, taking them to and from activities, organising playdates, bath time and story time.
Ad hoc nanny to various other children from birth - 2014 - present
Classroom Assistant – 2010-2013 – Almondsbury CofE Primary School Part Time.
Duties included: Teaching French/maths, story telling, music Lessons, marking, individual reading, one on one help to pupils, P.E and marking.
Nanny to a little girl – 2011 - 2013
Around my classroom assistant job, I nannied a little girl, Phoebe two days a week from when she was one until she was three. Duties included : Nap time, bath times, feeding/cooking for her, general play, organising play dates, nursery pick-ups, and occasional evening babysitting.
Nanny to Girl 10 and Boy 8 – 2008-2010
I nannied Izzy and Freddie in Primrose Hill 2 days a week after school. Duties included: Help with homework, school pick-ups, making dinner, bath and bed time.
