About Me
I'm a 43 year old male nanny. I've been working with children on and off for 21 years. I have been living in Northern Ireland for the last 11 years and have recently moved back to Cheltenham in England to be closer to family. Sorry for the old photo (Taken around 2010), will be updated soon
I have a lot of experience looking after toddlers. I've always enjoy playing, reading and talking to them and have never shied away from feeding, bathing, or changing a dirty nappy, or indeed any of the other duties that childcare involves. I am always willing to take them outside and enjoy nature and children's activities. I enjoyed building relationships with the children with play and cuddles and getting to know them and their families.
When I became a nanny and have now done so for several families and have enjoyed my time with all of them. I am currently based in a nursery in central Cheltenham and am looking for some evening babysitting.
I am very competent with computers and am trying to self teach myself some of the more popular programming languages. It you need a Minecraft server set up for the children let me know. I also walks and taking pictures/videos with my camera and my drone
My Experience
I first started working children at a nursery in Teddington in 2004 where I went on to work for 4 years and compted an NVQ2 there. Since then I have spent around 17 of the last 21 years looking after young children, mostly as a nanny.
My Qualifications
I did a NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education while I was at the nursery and I also have seventeen years of childcare experience. I have an up-to-date Paediatric 1st Aid and DBS check.
My Availability
I am looking for some evening or weekend babysitting to make a few extra pounds. I finish work in central Cheltenham at 6pm most days.
I currently living in Bishops Cleeve near Cheltenham. I will be moving to the Springbank area of Cheltenham soon. I can drive and have a car.
