About Me
Hello, I have been living in the Nailsea area since 2010 with my husband and two adult daughters, all CRB checked. Living in a quiet cul-de-sac in my home I have a dedicated playroom which is safe, welcoming, light and airy and full of educational and stimulating books, games and toys. Outside there is a large garden area for children to get lots of fresh air and enjoy toys, planting and growing fruit, vegetables and plants as well as opportunities for sensory activities.
I love messy play and arts and crafts and offer opportunities for socialising by visiting local toddler groups and days out.
My Experience
As well as being a mother I have been an experienced, Ofsted registered childminder since 2008. For my three Ofsted inspections, I've maintained a 'Good' grading.
I regularly attend local Quality Improvement meetings and training to keep up to date to keep up with any changes to the EYFS.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare.
CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce.
Food Hygiene (Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering).
Paediatric First Aid – 12 hour programme.
Child Protection: Basic Awareness.
Specialist (SEND) Childminder.
Marathon Workshop Level 4.
