About Me
Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a registered childminder. I am regulated by CSSIW and a member of PACEY. I have a current DBS certificate and also have public liability Insurance. I have a certificates in Paedriatric First Aid, food hygiene and basic and advanced child protection.
I am based very close to Cardiff City Stadium, walking distance to a number of parks, playgroups and library. I am very fortunate to be close to lovely parks and outside areas that we can explore.
I am very close to the city centre and Cardiff Bay, so ideal if you work centrally.
I can provide a very safe and homely environment for children where they can learn and play and we can have lots of fun. I have a lovely playroom with plenty of toys, puzzles, books and arts and crafts, plenty to keep the children occupied including the young ones. We also love to have our quiet time during the day where we can read stories. I have a lovely garden for the children to play out too.

My Experience
I have gained a wide range of experience from my own son and looking after friends/families children. I have worked as a childminder for 11 years, I enjoy my job and love taking the children out. Love seeing the children develop. We enjoy the outdoors, visiting the library and also indoor activities within my setting.
My aim is to provide a home from home environment where children can feel happy and settled. I work closely with parents to provide the care they require.
My Qualifications
I have a certificate for the Introduction to Childcare Practice (ICP).
I have a certificates in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and also basic and advanced child protection.
I have completed my QCF Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate for the Children & Young People's Workforce.
My Availability
I’m offering school wrap around for St Patrick’s school in Grangetown and possibly nursery wrap around for Ninian park.

Michelle has now be our childminder for the last couple of months and we couldnt be happier. She is fantastic with my son and aswell as being a lovely person is also extremely professional with all childcare matters. The minute we stepped foot into Michelles home we instantly new she was the right childminder for us. Michelle was able to accomodate our childminding needs and even Billy setlled instantly from us only being there for under an hour. Michelles home is completely geared towards a fun, friendly and safe childminding environment which gave us piece of mind instantly as Billy is our first child so we have never done this before. I would recommend Michelle to anyone and can honestly say you will also be extremely happy with her services.
