About Me

Hi, I'm Erica, I'm 33 and based in Somerton. I have my own car and a clean full driving licence, plus a range of Britax car seats.

I am DBS checked and first aid trained. I have also previously worked as a teacher at a private school in the UK and a nursery teacher in New Zealand.

I have spent a lot of time caring for babies, toddlers and children, many times being the sole carer overnight and throughout the weekend. I thrive in this environment and I establish strong connections with the children I care for.

I enjoy the outdoors, walking and sports. I have an energetic, loving, sensitive and loyal 7 year old springer spaniel so I understand how to work with families with pets.

My Experience

I have 9 years teaching experience working in a Co-Ed Independent boarding school ages 4-18 and many years experience nannying. I have spent 9 months in New Zealand when I nannied as well as doing some relief work at an Early Childhood Education centre. Before this I was a nanny to a 5 year old boy in the UK. I thoroughly enjoy caring for babies, toddlers and young children and I establish strong connections with the children I care for. I am skilled at developing good relationships with babies, toddlers and young children, tailoring my knowledge, experience and understanding of pedagogy to their needs and requirements.
