About Me
We are a family of 6 and I have been married for 11 years. We have 4 children, ages from 15 till 5
My older two children are in secondary school and my younger two are home educated.
We have little dog called Betty,
I have a level 3 in childcare and education. I have my up to date first aid training and safeguarding training and I am regularly taking training courses to update our knowledge in childcare.
I offer a home from home care setting, with I pride my self, I offer home cooked meal, and lots off outing for your child/ children to enjoy.
My Experience
I started working with children at the age off 18, I worked in a nursery up at Canary Wharf for 5 years where I had my first two children, after my son was born I registered to be a childminder and have been childminding since.
I have cared for children from 3 months too 11.

So, me and my partner had been searching for a childminder for a few weeks using this website and and we visited some childminders but we couldn't find one that was suitable for us.
Then we came across Sheri, she wasn't that far away from us and her prices were very reasonable. She was brilliant at communicating with myself so we decided to arrange to meet her and visit her in her home.
We visited Sheri at her home , it was clean , it was calm , it was a calming environment, there were various activities and toys out for the children to play with. I could see instantly how much she cared for the children and how much the children adored her too. We felt very comfortable around her and I just felt at ease and I knew I could ask anything , even if it sounded silly for us but she wasn't going to judge us.
We have never had a childminder for our children before so we were a little unsure what to expect or what we should be asking but Sheri explained everything to us and her own experiences that she has had in childcare. Not once did she make us feel uncomfortable. We felt really relaxed around her.
Sheri even offered us to look through some reviews that parents had written down and they were all so positive and that made me feel more at ease knowing she had relieved positive comments and feedback.
Our son just fitted in so well and seemed so comfortable around her and the other children, especially one of her sons who my son found hilarious. It was lovely to watch.
Sheri is a brilliant communicator and will regularly take the children out on various trips and outings. Sheri will send over pictures of our son of what he has been doing and it really brings me comfort...even though I know he is OK with Sheri. On the first day Sheri had my son , within half an hour she sent me a picture of him and saying he is OK. That bought me so much comfort but the fact she took time to do that, really did mean a lot to me as I am a worrier but I know I didn't need to worry. Sheri definitely goes the extra mile to make sure that everything is just right. She's very professional in what she does and achieves.
Sheri will send me over what my son has eaten , times and details of nappy changes and a description of what our son has particularly enjoyed doing that day. The whole family are an absolute joy to be around and I find that comforting too. Sheri's own children are adorable and you can see the amount of love they have as a family.
Our son has been with Sheri now for 4 weeks and I can honestly say she is amazing and it's one of the best things we've ever done.
Sheri is a very passionate about her job and you can really see this .
You really wouldn't be disappointed with Sheri. She is amazing and loves and cares for our little boy the same way we do and to be honest this is all I've ever wanted.
We know our little boy loves being with Sheri and being in her care. Even my older son loves going there when we pick his brother up or drop him there.
Thank you Sheri for being our little boys amazing childminder. We just regret so much that we didn't find you any sooner.

I would definitely recommend sheri she treats my son just like one of her own and made us feel comfortable from the first day. You can tell she loves her job and she has so many fun activities and outings

I was lucky mum as we had Sheri for more than one year. She was looking after my son whos is now 2.5 years old. Sheri was as second mum for my son. She is brilliant. Very passion about this job. She tought my son so many things like to sleep alone, to use potty and a lot of others. He learned so many things. It's shame than she moved to other area. I want to recommend this wonderful childminder to all Basildon mums as she is the best childminder.We are missing you :)

My daughter has been coming to Sheri for the last few months. She loves it and even asks to see them on my days off. My daughter is treated like one of the family which is all I wanted from a childminder. They do lots of activities and go on different trips. I really couldn't have found anyone better.
