About Me
Hello my name is Sammie and I am an early years educator. I have many years of experience with working with children of all ages.
I was previously a baby room supervisor for a well known nursery chain but as I have children myself I wanted to work from home and still fulfill my career path with children and education.
I live at home with my husband and children including my baby grandson. My home is never empty as I seem to be like the pied piper, all of my friends children enjoy being here. I love family time and my children are my world.
I like to give the children that I care for all the experiences I can, in doing this letting them fullfill their learning and development potential.
I often take them on trips to zoos, farms and other places of interest. I also do music and movement sessions and occasionally attend playgroups at my local sure start centres.
My Experience
I started my career as a nanny with a lovely family they are all grown up now with families of their own. Worked with the EYFS whilst in the nursery setting and now use it at my setting.
I am paediatric first aid trained and have had extensive experience within the child care sector.
I have recently been graded by OFSTED as GOOD.
My Qualifications
Btec National Diploma in Health care studies and science
Advanced Paediatric First Aid Trained
My Availability
I have limited space available. Full time spaces rarely come up unless you’re on the waiting list.
I will have availability for early years children between 9-3 from September 2026
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
At cheeky chops childcare I offer affordable rate, fees & flexible hours. I operate on an hourly basis and of a minimum of four hours each day. I also offer before & after school facility with negotiable fees. A payment policy can be given on request.
