About Me
My name is Nichola Kay. I am 45 Years old and I am a mum of three children who are 14, 13 & 11. I live with my husband who is a paramedic and three children on Wolborough Hill, Newton Abbot.
My Experience
Before I became a mum I worked in a lovely school in London fulfilling my passion, which is teaching and working with children. It was not just a job to me, it was something I loved doing and wanted to make a difference to the children under my care. Whilst working as a Teacher, I was asked to help after school with two families at their home, which was a great opportunity looking after them in their home environment. After having my own children, I decided to become a Childminder and have now been one for 9 years and have just received an Outstanding in my latest Ofsted Inspection.

Nichola has been our sons childminder for coming up to a year, we couldn't be happier. It was the best decision we have ever made choosing Nichola to look after our little boy. With Nichola's love and care he is so happy and fulfilled.
The environment is centred around family values, routine and creativity, he has learnt and developed so much. Frankie is made to feel like he is part of Nichola's family and he simply loves being with them.
