About Me
Hi welcome to Gretta K Childminding services . I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since May 2001. My recent Ofsted inspection was October 2018 and I’m proud to say I got outstanding in all areas . I am also in the Staffordshire Childminding Quality Partnership for the Cannock area. I have done my NVQ level 3 and I continue with on going courses. I live in Hednesford, staffordshire.
My local school is PyeGreen academy where I offer before and after school care .
I also offer free funded places for 2,3 and 4 year olds.
Having a circle of friends who are also registered childminders allows the children to interact and play with other children of a similar age and I also attend local toddler groups, we also visit the fun house where the children love to play. The children and I enjoy all aspects of art and craft.Parents witness their childs artistic talents at every possible opportunity, celebrating not only our own festivals we celebrate other cultural festivals (i.e. Chinese New Year and Diwali). I also encourage social skills such as sharing and showing kindness towards others as well as emphasising the need for the children to show free expression within their play. I have a playroom which is filled with lots of toys and recourses for all ages and stages for the children's developments and needs . My garden also offers out door toys and equipment .
Where I live in Hednesford is very close to Cannock Chase Where I often take the children on nature walks and picnics, there is also a very nice park near by where we visit a lot.
The whole of my house and garden is registered. I work five days a week.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
My fees are £4.00 per hour which includes Healthy snacks , drinks and daily outing such as toddler groups , play centres , farms etc .

We’ve been using Gretta for both of our daughters, our youngest from 18 months & she starts school in Sept & for before & after school for our eldest.
They do lovely activities for the children within Gretta’s setting, exploring the local area, local groups & soft play. I’ve always loved that Gretta meets up with other Childminder’s so my daughter gets to socialise with more children.
We would definitely recommend Gretta, she is very caring & has a lovely way.

My little boy was in Grettas care from 8month old until 2 years old. He have developed in leaps and bunds in that time with his speech and physical development. Gretta takes the children out to lots of different places and They get lots of variety in their activities weather its a nature walk, a soft play activity or arts and craft. I loved it when my son would come home with all different things he’s made depending on what special occasions were happening at that time. It was really easy for me to leave my son there knowing he was in a loving and warm environment.

Gretta has looked after my little boy since he was 6 months old. Gretta provides excellent care and my son loves going every week, he’s now nearly 3. He always comes home telling me about his friends and what they’ve been up to. The children are always crafting or going on nature walks. My little one loves to be outside and enjoys being out and about. They are always up-to something. I’m kept up to date with newsletters and love the monthly learning themes. I highly recommend Gretta and I’m soo great full for finding her.

Gretta has my 2 year old daughter and has been caring for her since she was 8 months old. Hattie loves going to Grettas and has made friends, I have never had any problems leaving her. Gretta does so many activities and takes the children out to many different fun and educational places.
I have no worries at all with Gretta, I highly recommend Gretta she is simply fantastic

Gretta had my youngest for nearly 2 years and did an amazing job . My daughter developed in leaps and bounds with Gretta, they were always out and about whether it be up cannock chase , farms or playgroups. Very reliable and trustworthy people , my little one loved going and always came back with stories about her adventure that day . Would highly recommend Gretta to any parent who would like a friendly family educational environment for their child to go .
