About Me

I live on the Isle of Wight and enjoy the beach, walking, swimming, cycling and the outdoor life. I also enjoy arts and crafts, literature and dancing and hula-hooping!
I enjoy working at Tapnell Farm, as the arts and crafts lady!

My Experience

I am a trained Early Years Teacher and experienced nanny. I have also worked as a Playleader, Children's Librarian ,and run children's art and craft classes in the school holidays . I am a strong swimmer and a non-smoker and a safe driver. I have also acted as a proxy-parent when needed and am a confident, practical and fun person, who genuinely loves the company of children from babies to teenagers! Outdoor learning and Beach-time are also a priority.
I have also studied drama, public speaking and social skills. I am available to tutor younger children to aid phonics, reading skills and numeracy confidence.

My Qualifications

NNEB, Montessori Teaching Diploma, BA (Education) Early Years Degree, LAMDA Public Speaking and Diction Diploma.

My Availability

Update : Summer 2025: I am now available on a Tuesday morning, and a Thursday. From September 2025 I also have availability on a Wednesday morning.
I also have availability for tutoring sessions for younger children, who need extra support with phonics, reading and writing skills.
