About Me
Hi, I'm Laura, I have been a nanny for over 20 years and have looked after children whose ages range from Newborn right into teenage years. I have also spent time traveling with some of the families I have worked for.
I enjoy travel, cooking & baking, board gaming, photography and swimming.
I was a finalist in the 2025 UK Nanny of the year which I am very proud of. I am an active member of UK Nanny which has given me a lot of opportunities to meet other nannies and professionals from the sector from across the UK and even internationally.
I currently have a full time live in nannying position so am looking for babysitting and occasional ad-hoc roles only.
My Experience
* BTEC National Diploma in Early Years including work placements in a variety of childcare settings.
* 20+ years professional nannying for families in private homes with children ranging from newborn - teens.
* SEN experience (including complex medical needs)
* Multiples experience & nanny share experience
* First Aid Training (renewed at least every 2-3 years)
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC national diploma in early years, I have current first aid qualifications, clean driving licence, DBS, nanny insurance and although I am not currently OFSTED registered because it’s not required in my position; however, I meet all the conditions to become re-registered with Ofsted at any time.
I do regular online training courses relevant to Nannying and am an active member of UK Nanny where I attend their conferences and trainings therefore I accumulate a fair amount of CPD hours.
My Availability
My current availability is limited but I am sometimes able to offer babysitting, overnights, weekend work etc around my local area and also in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire at weekends.

Laura has been the nanny to our 2 children for the last 2 years and I honestly cannot rate her highly enough. She is extremely professional whilst still giving our girls endless amounts of fun and kindness. The girls love being with Laura because she does interesting and exciting things with them. She is very caring and capable and we feel so lucky to have had Laura in our lives!
