About Me
Hello, my name is Rowena and I live in Cheam/Sutton. I am an OFSTED registered child minder, with 23 years’ experience of working in the childcare industry, most recently as a private nanny. I qualified with an NNEB in Childcare, have full DBS checks and up to date first aid training certificate, food hygiene and safeguarding course. I have a warm and loving home, and am mother to two wonderful girls aged 7 and 3 with the eldest at St Dunstan’s Primary in Cheam.
My extensive experience in childcare has provided me the opportunities to build up a network of contacts and play groups, which allows me to provide the children I look after a range of engaging activities that help supplement the EYFS learning and development opportunities which I provide at my home. I have a secure and safe garden which I make the most of during the spring and summer months.
My Experience
I started in 2000 working as a teaching assistant at Downsend School, before moving into employment at a day nursery based in Epsom. I then embarked on a fulfilling career in private nannying working for a number of wonderful families over 15 years. I have full references from all my families that I have worked for and am lucky to still be in contact with them all, watching the children I use to nanny grow into young adults.
