About Me
My name is Lisa and I have an NVQ Level 3 in children's care, learning and development. I have over 18 years experience working in the childcare industry.
I have a real passion in childcare and thrive to assist children in their learning and development. I offer a warm, nurturing, homely environment with the encouragement to meet each child’s individual milestones whilst having lots of fun! I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS) and provide lots of opportunities to help children develop their skills.
I have two sons (Born March 13 and August 15). I live in a great area with lots of fun places to visit. I am a fun, creative, outdoorsy childminder and feel i have a huge amount to offer children in my care. I have a lovely conservatory which I have converted into a play room equipped with a wide variety of educational toys. I have a garden with lots of space to run around and lots of fun outdoor toys/equipment. I offer lots of activities including cooking, crafts and creative play. We also visit lot of playgroups to give children the opportunity to socialise with other children.
I am Ofsted registered and have my First Aid certificate.
My Experience
I started my career in childcare in a nursery where i worked with children from 3 months old to pre-school age. I worked there for 3 years.
I then went on to become a nanny a role I thoroughly enjoyed and did this for 3 and a half years.
I started childminding after the birth of my first son and have loved every moment! I plan to continue with the adventure for many more years to come.
I have a book of my references and certificates available for viewing.
My Qualifications
I am qualified with an NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Development.

My 22 month old boy absolutely loves going to Lisa's. She's kind, super nurturing, fun and clearly loves her job. I completely trust her!
It took a while for us to find the right setting for our little boy but we knew instantly that Lisa was the right fit and it's been wonderful watching my little boy's confidence grow on a daily basis. They go to playgroups together, explore in the park, build in nature, walk Lisa's dog, Woody, and do lots of arts and crafts so the day is lovely and varied. We completely trust Lisa and she's become a shining star in our little boy's life which is good enough for us!
