I’m a 34?year?old mum of two, offering reliable and caring babysitting support in the Holywell area. I own my own car, have been driving for 15 years, and hold a full UK licence.
I’m a naturally bubbly, nurturing person who loves keeping busy and creating a safe, fun environment for children. I bring over 15 years of professional experience from nurseries, primary schools, and a children’s residential home supporting children and teens with challenging behaviours. This means I’m confident with a wide range of needs, routines, and personalities.
At the moment, I’m at home with my little ones. My 4?year?old is in school from 9.15–3.15, and my 2?year?old attends from 9.15–11.45, so I’m looking for work that fits around these hours. With school holidays and childcare costs being what they are, babysitting is the perfect way for me to support other families while still being there for my own.
My Experience
I’ve worked in a variety of childcare settings and held senior responsibilities throughout my career. I’ve been a Team Leader in children’s residential homes, supporting young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, managing staff, and ensuring a safe, structured environment.
I’ve also been a Room Leader and Key Worker in both nurseries and primary schools, taking the lead on planning activities, supporting children’s learning and development, and building strong, trusting relationships with families. These roles have given me extensive hands?on experience with children of all ages, as well as a solid understanding of routines, safeguarding, and individual needs.
My Qualifications
I hold a Degree in Psychology, a CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Childcare, Learning and Development, and an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I also have an NVQ in Playwork, giving me a strong foundation in supporting children’s learning, development, and play across a wide range of ages and needs.
My Availability
My availability during the week is shaped around my own children’s school hours, as I need to collect them each day. This means my daytime availability is limited unless the care can include my little ones joining in as a playdate. Weekends are more flexible for me, and I’m happy to discuss what might work best for your family.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
