About Me
Hi my name is Leah, I live at home with my Husband, two little boys age 4 and 6 and our Cockapoo Nova. Im currently offering childminding and some babysitting. I recently worked alongside my mum both as childminders. We are both level 3 nursery nurses with lots of experience with different age groups and have been in lots of different settings.
I have been a qualified level 3 nursery nurse for over 10 years. I have been in different nurseries and schools and my main age group I have experience with is the early years (0-5).
My Mum and I ensure that our setting is welcoming and a has a very homely calm feel to it. We make sure there is always fun, stimulating activities to do which meet the age and stage of each child. We adapt our routine to meet each child s individual routines, we like to make sure that we have a good balance of indoor and outdoor time. And promote learning experiences wherever we can.
I have a full driving license.
My Experience
I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and Have done many different placements with all different age groups. Including 0-8. Since leaving school in 2011.
I have worked in many different settings with all different age groups ( 0-10) these include infant schools, morning and after school club and all different nurseries. I have also done many different roles in my jobs which include nursery nurse, play worker, teaching assistant, after school club leader and also in two different settings I have been the baby room leader. I have always enjoyed all my roles and have loved building up my experience in different settings and age groups.
I enjoy planning and doing activities with the children which they enjoy but also help them with their development and reaching their next steps and goals. I have worked alongside SEN/additional needs and supported parents with this. I’m always thinking of ways to make the children’s learning and experiences interesting.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 Cache diploma in childcare (NNEB)
I have a level 3 paediatric first Aid
I have a food hygiene certificate
I have 3 different safeguarding certificates.
I am also CRB checked
My Availability
Available from 7.30am- 4.30pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Fees can be discussed at interview or first meet.
For childminding the charge is £6.00
