About Me
I have been in childcare for over 16 years, I am fully qualified (NVQ 2 and 3) and have various other certificates especially for under 2's,(child psychology,maternity nursing,nutrition and more!)
I have lots of experience working with children, Within my nanny roles,i have settled the older child into nursery and school, making good friendships with other parents(and carers) at his school, potty trained the youngest, promoted a good healthy diet for both children, encouraged good positive behaviour using discipline appropriate to the child’s age, and much more.
I am a fun, creative and caring nanny, I enjoy all aspects of working with children, and I provide lots of stimulating, age appropriate activities, within a safe environment including lots of socializing, which will encourage lots of learning opportunities. I arrange all sorts of activities, including creative activities, daily outings (e.g. zoo, park), swimming, baby groups, or even just playing at home and ensuring all the child’s individual needs are met.(sleep/rest/healthy diet/hygiene-nappies,etc)
I like to build good relationships with the children, and parents as a nanny and find it very rewarding watching them grow, develop, learning new skills and having fun on a daily basis!
I am an, easy going, flexible, patient person, who is looking for a Nanning or maternity nurse position, I am dedicated, friendly and caring person who children adapt to with ease, I am also very reliable and trust worthy which I think is all important to be a good nanny!
My Experience
I have had over 16 years childcare experience, (mostly with under 2 year olds including newborns) however have cared for children up to 14 years old!
I have worked in many different nurseries, gaining lots of experience in each one! Mainly in the baby room, caring for children as young as 3 months- 2 years, i feel this is the age i excel in caring for them as its where i have most experience and qualifications!
Althou one of the nurseries i was in the pre-school room (room leader) 3-4 years and also enjoyed working with the older children, as found this rewarding and helping them get ready for school!
I have also been nanny which i love!! I have cared for new borns- 14 year olds, i have completed my maternity nurse award so can help with new borns from day one! :)

Anita has done some ad hoc babysitting for our sixteen month old recently and she has been wonderful - very punctual, super friendly, kind, patient and experienced. She clearly cares a lot about working with children. Our daughter was immediately very relaxed with Anita and had a great time with her. We would definitely recommend her to any family!

Anita was brilliant at supporting our rather wayward rota of requirements and was totally honest about what she could and couldn't do. Very well qualified and clearly experienced in handling kids (and their parents) alike! Very disappointed we don't have enough hours to offer her, which is the only reason we are having to part company (we've gone down an au pair route now). Any family will be very lucky to have her working with them!
